Hi Guys…welcome to my new Website ! I’m sure you’ll agree its absolutely beautiful and I’m very grateful to Glen Hannah and Glen Purkiss for all their hard work and for making it happen.. also big thanks to Judy Nadin whose beautiful artistry has graced my album cover and this site  X

These last 12 months have been all about writing and recording my new album ‘Heart of Sorrow’. I wrote and road tested the songs during Tours with Luke O’Shea and Beccy Cole and in May 2013 went into the studio to record them with Singer/Songwriter and Producer Shane Nicholson at the helm. (It’s hard to believe now that that was nearly ten months ago – but we haven’t stopped working for a moment since then towards its release!)

At the 2014 Tamworth Country Music Festival we previewed ‘Heart of Sorrow’ from start to finish.

I was overwhelmed by the audience response and thrilled by the musicianship of Glen Hannah, Glenn Wilson, Jeff McCormack and Bill Risby who played alongside me…the very first time i have played this album live with a band ! (have a look at my photo gallery for some pics of the show)
Toyota Star Maker Finalist, Tommy Contor opened the night with his soulful songs and beautiful voice. I was joined on stage for two duets, “How Long?” with my hero Kevin Bennett ,then for a new piano based arrangement of ‘Beautiful Liar’ with Judah Kelly – a star in the making!
Most recently I have been in discussions with a label who are keen to sign me for this album..i will have more to announce on that subject in the very near future.
I’m so pleased that my new website is here! Its a great platform to share my songs, lyrics, photos, gig details and thoughts….. You can also visit the shop and have a look at the cool merchandise we have for sale.. not to mention the fact that you can listen to and buy my music.

Thanks so much for visiting….I hope you enjoy the site and that you’ll continue to drop by for more updates..and feel free to send your best gig pics to my Facebook page for inclusion in the ‘Friends and Fans’ Gallery.
Love Lyn Xphoto
