Jil Emberson interviewed me so many times at ABC Newcastle over the years, she was a force to be reckoned with and did so much to raise awareness for ovarian cancer while fighting the disease herself. I was so sad to hear of her passing a few days ago. My beautiful friend Jill Emberson is dead. Ovarian cancer took her life far too early.Thanks to everyone who came along to Tilligerry RSL Sports Club’s - Carols on the Green on Saturday. We had a fantastic turnout, a wonderful evening and were able to donate $2000 from your gold coin entry to Tilligerry Rural Fire Brigade and the Clubs NSW Bushfire Appeal. Win win !
