I’m very happy to let you know that the first Single from my new Album, ‘Paper Cut’, is out now.
I’ve been working on my new Album throughout this year, it’s still a work in progress, with a few songs yet to record and I expect to be releasing it mid 2025.
I’m taking a more traditional Country approach to the sound and instrumentation of this Album, but it still contains many elements of all the varied musical styles I love.
‘Paper Cut’ is the first Single from my forthcoming Album ‘Paper Cuts’.
‘Paper Cut’ is an old school Country lament about a close relationship gone wrong.
‘Paper Cut’ takes you back in time. It’s an instant classic, with echoes of Emmylou Harris and George Jones, and a throwback to Lyn’s earliest roots in Country music. Kasey Chambers lends her voice to the track with a broken-hearted lilt that perfectly complements Lyn’s crystalline vocal.
