I’m absolutely thrilled to let you know that my next Single ‘Paper Cut’ is now out.
I’ve been working on a new Album throughout this year, it’s still a work in progress, with a few songs yet to record and I expect to be releasing it mid 2025.
I’m taking a more traditional Country approach to the sound and instrumentation of this Album, but it still contains many elements of all the varied musical styles I love.
‘Paper Cut’ is the first Single from my forthcoming Album ‘Paper Cuts’.
‘Paper Cut’ is an old school Country lament about a close relationship gone wrong.
‘Paper Cut’ takes you back in time. It’s an instant classic, with echoes of Emmylou Harris and George Jones, and a throwback to Lyn’s earliest roots in Country music. Kasey Chambers lends her voice to the track with a broken-hearted lilt that perfectly complements Lyn’s crystalline vocal.
